At the start of the new year we take part in the symposium Care around the newborn. We look forward to seeing you on January 29, 2018 in the ReeHorst in Ede!

The symposium this year will focus on "Starting at the beginning", namely the care of the neonate. The moment where everything revolves around where everything starts; the care and cooperation with various disciplines and the parents.

This symposium is working with newborns for all healthcare professionals. During this symposium, best practices and new developments will be discussed, but there will also be room for discussion on subjects such as the gentle sectio, skin on skin after birth and the birth plan. Not only from the eyes of the health care professional, the midwife, the nurse, the gynecologist or the neonatologist, but also the father speaks. All with a different view on that crucial moment of birth.

The traditional Truus Vanlier prize for the most innovative and stimulating poster will be awarded this year by the namesake of this award.

The symposium starts at 8.45 am and ends at 4.30 pm. We hope to see you there!
