Glucose drink

GLUCOMEDICS® is a glucose solution for oral loading, especially developed for the practice of diagnostics tests based on the metabolization of glucose. 

Glucose Tolerance Drinks are used in the evaluation of diabetes mellitus and related disease conditions. This test is used to detect gestational diabetes and diabetes mellitus. Patients consume a fixed dose of glucose and then the glucose dosage in the patient blood is monitored at various time points after consumption.

Flavour

The glucose drinks are available in two different flavors. Both flavors have been formulated to achieve a tasty flavor in order to improve the ingestion of the solution and avoid vomits caused by the conventional solutions of glucose.

Glucomedics® is offered in bottles with a volume of 200 ml, with three exact concentrations of glucose (50 gr, 75 gr and 100 gr) for each taste. This allows to adjust the glucose dosage according to the physical characteristics of the patients.

Ready to go

Glucomedics® is ready for its consumption. Best served chilled in order to get an easier and tasty ingest of the solution. Shake well before use.

GLUCOMEDICS® quality control over the whole process is followed, and garantees reliability of the results. Additional microbiological test are observed for each lot produced.

Packaging

Practical and handy packaging of 12 bottles on a carton. Packaging provide the personnel easier transport and storage of Glucomedics®.
