A superior embedding material – a mixture of pure paraffin and other waxes designed to facilitate the sectioning of tough or soft tissue. Compression of tissue due to cutting is reduced to a minimum. Should wrinkles be present, they are easily removed and damaged tissue due to cutting, is reduced to a minimum.

The pellet form provides easier handling and faster melting characteristics.

HISTOWAX® has a melting point of 56°-58°C.

HISTOWAX® is free from toxic contaminants – it is triple filtered and thus very pure. Our wax has a continuous high quality through our automated manu­facturing process and is ready for use after melting.
