TetraSensor is a rapid assay in dipstick format detecting the contamination of tissue samples by Tetracyclines molecules
TetraSensor is a receptor-based assay for rapid determination of the amount of tetracycline present in animal and food samples. The screening test allows detecting all tetracycline molecules (tetracycline, oxytetracycline, doxycycline and chlortetracycline) at least at 10 ppb.
Tetracyclines are broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotics that are extensively used in veterinary and human medicine for the treatment of a wide variety of bacterial infections.
The test is applicable for muscle tissue from a range of animal species including bovine, porcine, ovine and poultry. Presence of Tetracycline in Seafood and Fish can also be determined with Tetrasensor.
